The Quitline 0800 778 778 is a free quit smoking telephone help line. You can speak to a Quitline Advisor who can provide you with support and advice to help you quit smoking.

 

 

 

 

 

What do you get?

Callers to the Quitline can:

  • Request a quit pack which has practical quit smoking advice and information.
  • Register on the Quitline programme for advice and support.
  • Get exchange cards for subsidised nicotine patches or gum where suitable ($5.00 for the first four weeks supply of patches or gum).

 

 

 

What happens when I call?

  • When you call the 0800 778 778 Quitline you’ll be given several choices.
  • As a first-time caller press ‘1’ and you’ll be put through to a Quitline Advisor.
  • To give you the best assistance possible the Quitline advisor will want to know more about you.
